1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Lineup Hero ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lineup Hero is a web-based lineup management tool for youth baseball and softball coaches. The Service allows coaches to create teams, manage rosters, build game lineups, track playing time fairness, and export lineup cards.

3. Account Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Free Trial and Payments

Free Trial: New accounts include a free trial with 1 team and 1 game lineup. No credit card is required for the free trial.

Coach Plan: The Coach plan is $2.50/month per team, billed annually at $29.99. Each payment covers one team for one season.

Refund Policy: If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. No questions asked. Contact us at support@thelineuphero.com to request a refund.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Upload malicious code or content
Resell or redistribute access to the Service without permission

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Lineup Hero (team names, player names, game data, etc.). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the Service, but we will never share your identifiable data with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Lineup Hero available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lineup Hero is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
