Team and Roster Data: You provide team names, player names, jersey numbers, position preferences, and game lineup data. This is the core data you create and manage within the app.

Payment Information: When you purchase a season pass, payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. Stripe provides us with a transaction record and customer ID for managing your subscription.

Usage Data: We automatically collect basic usage information such as pages visited, browser type, and device information to help us improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Lineup Hero service
• To process payments and manage your account
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
• To improve our service and fix bugs
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Lineup Hero:

• Supabase: Authentication, database hosting, and file storage. Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database with row-level security.
• Stripe: Payment processing for season pass purchases. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
• Vercel: Application hosting and content delivery.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Row-level security policies on all database tables
• Secure password hashing
• Environment-variable-based secret management

5. Data Retention

Your account data, team data, and game history are retained as long as your account is active. Historical season data is preserved so you can reference past seasons.

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our active systems within 30 days. Some data may be retained in backups for a limited period.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and download your data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Children's Privacy

Lineup Hero is designed for coaches and team managers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player names and jersey numbers entered by coaches are considered team management data under the coach's control.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of Lineup Hero after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
